Description
To allow for collection of items outside of feeds by pulling from a 3rd party feed.
Possibilities include:delicious- by using shared stacks, and ability to add links via email- instapaper - by using RSS feed from account
- posterous
- tumblr
- An actual site
The suggestion of 3rd party sites/applications is all just to avoid bolting on a poorly thought out system for one-off item additions in newswire itself.

- Status changed from New to In Progress
- % Done changed from 0 to 10
Spent too long testing out delicious, couldn't get links to post via email, and stacks appear to not have feeds, only accounts.
Instapaper items saved via the email feature don't appear in the RSS.
Leaving instapaper on the list because it provides the same functionality, and is more straightforward.
I'd really like to get more info on the workflows of people who would be doing these one-off additions though.

tumblr looks like the link property goes back to the tumblr itself not to the original item, which is what we need for a repost. See http://mappingthemovement.tumblr.com/rss

- Target version set to 0.6.0
The occupywallstreet.net team have independently opted to use instapaper & reader.occupy.net in the short term to allow for launch without a functioning newswire.
They may want to continue using this workflow, but it would still be good for newswire to establish a recommended method.
Setting this for a later version just because of all the basics that have to be worked on.
