FGA Web Presence¶
This is not a definitive list, but aims to capture the state of conversation around our use of domains, domain names, and the operational segmentation of FGA.
- FGA Web Presence
1. FGA Project site – public facing portal to the FGA¶
google should get you here first
describes what we are doing in a digestible way
provides an easy point of entry
3. Mapping the Movement¶
This is aiming to be a highly public, social, networked space to share images coming out of
a general UX project to decribe the Movement. This could be something like tublr ( http://mappingthemovement.tublr.com ), or a flickr group.
This should promote a super easy way to add images and talk about them.
This could possibly be part of the Project site.
possibly to shift to mappingthemovement.occupy.net
2. PM site¶
Redmine/ We're not talking about changing this; we've dug in.
Some functionality may eventually be offloaded to the project site; initially we are thinking meeting minutes.
- tickets reside here
- the wiki is our evolving project spec
- we have forums
Public feature request font-end¶
we have been talking about EVENTUALLY having an online presence where the public
can at a glance suggest features, and see what is being given priority status.
This would be separate from our actual internal ticket management, but could be integrated
3. The FGA central hub¶
There is no active plan to have a central hub within FGA, but the idea has been tossed around. The word Federation creates an expectation of a center.
citizenry.net or citizenry.org (unfortunately for sale… who knows, could be affordable)
consensus.net (owned by food not bombs, dated circa 2006 -- promising!)
