Apriori values, objectives, caveats¶
[This project is unique in the sense?] that there are some apriori values, needs, objective that don't come from user needs.
Transparency, Horizontality, Accesability and Inclusiveness, solidarity, autonomy etc... that we should always keep in mind during the process.
Not for me to dictate, but they should at least be written down.
Broad Stroke block diagram of components¶
(Part of IA, but parallel with user bits)
Malleable roadmap (overview, eventual phased breakdown)
User Objectives¶
Processes in the Real World¶
How are people going about this in the real world both here and at other occs?
Interviews, polling, can help us here.
Interviews¶
user interviews and external resources in line with this objective.
Personas¶
We use Personas to create our User Stories
User Modes¶
(We need to consider people outside the movement, education targets (media, regular folk, 1%, etc).
User/Functionality Matrix¶
If we have a broad stroke definition of functionality, and user definitions, we can create a matrix in who's interested in doing what.
This helps prioritize functionality that serves most broadly.
Userflow¶
How users get to the information they need, complete the tasks they seek to accomplish.
Same as above, but with a focus on navigation, findability, wayfinding.
Content Requirements¶
Theres some overlap between User Objectives, IA, and this section, perhaps this is just a document and not a subheader.
IA¶
Entity Definitions¶
Content Type Definitions¶
Entity Relationships¶
Groups, Projects, Users, Documents, Decisions, Nodes and the relationships between them.
Trust Network Overview¶
What describes a users journey from 'possible cop?' to 'trusted member of the community'
Publishing model and Decision Outcomes¶
Broadcasting to public-facing contact points and outside world.
Troll Hunting methodology¶
How to deal with them/remove their fangs/turnem to stone.
UI¶
Consistency in presentation, interaction models, prioritization of information, grouping of interface elements based on some objective criteria and wayfinding.
