Overview

We would like your help in getting the word out on our project/service and/or the development of additional theme and site combinations.

The What:

We are offering small and medium sized occupations, the opportunity to easily establish a locally based professional looking and effective web presence. Based on Wordpress we can install, host (a place to put the website) and provide introductory training for a pre-configured website with all of the essential features for a current and professional looking website. There is no cost for this service. We have a demo site and a signup form.
The Why:

After a review of some of the cities in Washington State we found that many cities with developing occupy movements or small populations had a limited number of people with website development experience. Some had none. Most of the cities wanted a website but either did not know where to start or felt that development of usable site was beyond their available resources.

We believe that the success of the movement will require reaching out and enabling all communities to become involved in communicating their vision of the movement. Large urban occupation's can influence the national conversation but broad support will require neighbor to neighbor conversions in ways and on issues that are relevant to their local community. Even in the smallest communities, the internet has become a daily part of many peoples lives.
